FROM THE PRINCIPAL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE SCHOOL:

Principal

Mrs Amalba Christiana is a nurse/midwife educator with over thirty years of professional experience in nursing and midwifery. Mrs Amalba Christiana is the principal of Midwifery Training College, Bolgatanga, a position she has held since March 2022. Prior to her assumption as the principal, she worked at Nurses and Midwifery Training College, Tamale as the vice principal for over six years. This made it possible for to assist the principal in managing the college before she eventually assumed the principal of the Midwifery Training College, Bolga.

Mrs Amalba Christiana is a PHD student in UCC, has an Msc in Advanced nursing from UCC, an Msc in European midwifery from Mastricht university. She holds a BSc in midwifery from UHAS, She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from UCC, Diploma in Nurse practitioner from UDS. She is a fellow of the Ghana College and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International.

Mrs Amalba Christiana is a Registered Midwife (RM) and a State Registered Nurse (SRN). She has worked at different parts of the hospitals and different hospitals for all these years. She has developed skills in preceptorship and also setting up of skills laboratory. She is a member of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives group, She is a regional Rep and also a member of the Academic board.
